Hwang Shin Hye (Match Made in Heaven) and Oh Yeon Su (Bittersweet Life) face off in the name of love and pride in the 2009 KBS drama The Queen Returns. Back in their school days, Do Kyung (Oh Yeon Soo) was the popular girl and Gong Shim (Hwang Shin Hye) was her ugly duckling follower.


But everything changes when Do Kyung sleeps with Gong Shim's boyfriend (popular funnyman Tak Jae Hoon) and ends up pregnant. Flash forward to the present day, Do Kyung is now a typical mother and housewife, and Gong Shim has become a celebrity. Rivalry and revenge flare up again between the two women when Do Kyung's old crush Hyun Woo (Lee Jae Hwan, Temptation of Wife) shows up.

Directed by a project group led by GreenCacao (of Boys Over Flowers OST fame), The Queen Returns OST goes for a nostalgic, retro sound reminiscent of ABBA and The Bee Gees with confections like the upbeat ending theme With Me. The 15-track soundtrack also includes the Kim Yu Kyung ballad "Thank You Raseo".
